Whitewood Mortgages was founded by Marc Bennett,
who grew up in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire
and is the son of local Hoteliers.

After school & sixth form, Marc went on to study a HND Business & Finance at Blackpool & Fylde and then gained a BA (Hons) Business Enterprise at University Central Lancs (Preston).
After studying, he took 5 months out to travel around Canada and the Rocky Mountains.
In 2007 he passed his mortgage and protection qualifications. Over the past 17 years of mortgages, he has given mortgage advice for a national building society and for the last 10 years he has advised clients for a local ‘whole of market’ mortgage broker, gaining vast amounts of knowledge and experience.
Marc is married to Nic, they have a 10 year old boy called Harry and 2 rabbits called Juniper and Pablo.
Harry was born was Down Syndrome and had open heart surgery at the age of 3 months for 4 holes in his heart.
10 years on, Harry has many challenges but is doing amazingly well and Marc is very proud of him.
Harry was Marc’s inspiration to start Whitewood Mortgages and the companies colours are blue, yellow and white, which is associated with Down Syndrome Awareness. Harry gives Marc drive
and determination, and he would like to give him the best life possible, without spending too much time away from him and Nic. Marc would love Harry when he is older to be a part of Whitewood
Mortgages journey.
